AGL Resources Inc. today announced that after a 4-month process it has entered into an agreement with Alliance Data Systems to sell Utilipro, Inc. Utilipro is an integrated customer care solutions and billing services provider for energy marketers in the United States. The transaction is expected to close during the first quarter of calendar year 2001, and will be accretive to earnings. Proceeds from the sale will be used for general corporate purposes.
