Richard Hyde Joins AGL Resources as Senior Director, Governmental Relations

AGL Resources today named Richard Hyde senior director, Governmental Relations.

Hyde will be responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of the company's federal and state legislative agenda. He will also serve as liaison with the local governments, state legislatures, congressional delegations and other government agencies in the Gulf Coast region.

Hyde joins AGL Resources from Duke Energy Corporation, where he served in various roles including regional director of state government affairs and director of federal government affairs. He also worked as manager of state government affairs for PanEnergy Corporation.

A Texas native, Hyde received his bachelor of business administration from Sam Houston State University.
