Hank Linginfelter to oversee day-to-day business until new president is named
ATLANTA, May 30, 2012 – Today AGL Resources announced that Hank Linginfelter, executive vice president, Distribution Operations for AGL Resources will oversee the day-to-day business of Nicor Gas until a replacement is named for Ralph Cleveland. Cleveland, an AGL Resources veteran who became president of Nicor Gas in December 2011, is leaving the company to pursue an opportunity in the financial services industry after 30 years in the energy sector. “We enjoy a great depth of talent in our executive ranks and expect to fill this important leadership role in the near term. In the interim, our strong Nicor Gas leadership team will work directly with Hank to ensure the continued safe and reliable delivery of natural gas to our more than two million customers in northern Illinois,” said John W. Somerhalder II, president, chairman and chief executive officer of AGL Resources. “Ralph has contributed significantly to our company and our industry, and we wish him success as he enters this new chapter in his career,” added Somerhalder.
