Gulf Power customer offices close early — employees remain at the ready

Gulf Power Company is closing some of its customer offices early Tuesday as conditions deteriorate due to the unusual winter weather.

The following Gulf Power customer offices will close at 3 p.m. today and re-open Wednesday at noon:

Pensacola - 418 W. Garden St., Pensacola, FL

Milton - 5120 Dogwood Dr., Milton, FL

Fort Walton Beach - 140 Hollywood Blvd SW, Ft Walton Beach, FL 

Crestview - 1655 S Ferdon Blvd., Crestview, FL 

Niceville - 1057 E John Sims Pkwy., Niceville, FL

DeFuniak Springs - 1226 Circle Dr., DeFuniak Springs, FL  

Panama City - offices remain open today until 5 p.m., and will open Wednesday at noon.

“Our priority has always been the safety of our customers and employees,” said Jeff Rogers, Corporate Communications manager. “Our Customer Care Center will remain open with representatives at the ready. And, of course, our power plant teams and line crews will be working hard to keep the lights on.”

Staffing of line crews has been increased tonight and Wednesday morning. Power plants are ready to provide uninterrupted service during the potential icy conditions.

Customers can view our online outage map at MyGulfPower.com to report or check on an outage. They also can check their power usage on MyGulfPower.com by logging into their account. Customers can create an account online or call the Customer Care Center and a representative will help. Customer Care Center: 1-800-225-5797.
