Alabama Power’s Corporate Archives, in conjunction with the Alabama Clay Conference, is proud to host a ceramics exhibition of celebrated artists titled “The Year of the Pot.” The exhibition opens Tuesday, Feb. 4 in the Alabama Power Company Archives Museum and closes on Friday, May 2. The exhibit features works by Gary Hatcher, Bonnie Seeman, Daphne Roehr Hatcher and Peter Beasecker, along with an invitational showing of historic and contemporary ceramics made by Alabama artists. The museum is located inside the historic 1925 Alabama Power building at 6th Avenue North and 18th Street in downtown Birmingham. Museum hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
