Volunteers set to clean Alabama River Feb.15

What:                         Renew Our Rivers Swift Creek cleanup

When:                        Saturday, Feb. 15 9 a.m. to noon

Where:                       Swift Creek Landing (County Road 21 south), Autaugaville Directions: Travel to Autaugaville on Highway 14; turn south on County Road 21 south and continue to Swift Creek Landing. Boats will ferry some volunteers to clean-up on the water while others will clean debris along the shoreline and roadways.

Who: This Renew Our Rivers cleanup is coordinated by Autauga County PALS, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Coast Guard, Advanced Disposal Systems and Alabama Power.
