Alabama Power partners with Zoom Motorsports for fourth annual Electrathon Alabama
 

What:         The fourth annual Electrathon Alabama will be held at Barber Motorsports Park Monday, April 6. Students will drive electric-powered vehicles for one hour on a closed course. High school students will race in the first competition, while a second race will showcase college and professional teams. In all, 17 schools from Alabama and Georgia will be represented. There will also be a plug-in electric car show featuring the Chevrolet Volt, Ford Fusion, Tesla Roadster and Tesla Model S. Event sponsors include Alabama Power, SKY (Skilled Knowledgeable Youth), Zoom Motorsports and Barber Motorsports Park.

When:       Monday, April 6. Vehicle inspections begin at 8 a.m. and racing starts at 10 a.m.
