Southern Company, Southern Energy announce date for reporting third quarter earnings
ATLANTA Southern Company (NYSE: SO) plans to release its consolidated third quarter earnings at 7:30 a.m. (EST) on Monday, Oct. 23, at the same time that Southern Energy (NYSE: SOE), Southern Companys 80-percent-owned subsidiary, issues its first earnings release as a public company. Southern Energy made its initial public offering of shares on Sept. 27.
Southern Energy will conduct a conference call for financial analysts at
11:30 a.m. (EST) on Monday, Oct. 23, to discuss third quarter earnings and to provide a general business update.
Investors, media and the public may listen to a live Internet broadcast of the Southern Energy analyst call at www.southernenergy.com by clicking on the appropriate audio link. The analyst call will also be available for replay on the Internet for 10 days.
