ATLANTA Southern Company today announced a regular quarterly dividend of 35 cents per share on the companys common stock, payable June 5, 2004, to shareholders of record May 3, 2004.
This marks the 226th consecutive quarter dating back to 1948 that Southern Company will have paid a dividend to its shareholders.
