Alabama Power customers have a new digital marketplace to shop for smart and energy-efficient products.

Smart Neighbor by Alabama Power is an e-commerce website featuring a curated portfolio of energy-smart appliances, electronics and products.   

“Smart Neighbor is a resource for customers interested in purchasing energy-smart products,” said John Hudson, senior vice president of Marketing and Business Development. “Providing a digital marketplace allows them to shop with us whenever is most convenient for them.”  

The store features more than 100 items, such as smart appliances, thermostats, TVs and connected home products. Products from brands such as Nest, Philips, Samsung, Nucleus and Sony are available through the site. The product catalog will expand to include additional categories.

With the growing popularity of online retail sites, Alabama Power is now providing customers a digital marketplace. Smart Neighbor pairs Alabama Power’s existing Appliance Sales retail business with an online option for customers.
