Future LPGA stars to showcase golf, values at
Alabama Power Junior Clinic in Prattville
PRATTVILLE, Ala. – Sept. 18, 2018 - Three professional golfers with SEC school connections will host a golf clinic for more than 300 children from the River Region on Wednesday, Sept. 19, at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Capitol Hill. The Junior Clinic is sponsored by Alabama Power and the Guardian Championship. The Alabama Power Junior Clinic will take place at 10 a.m. on the Driving Range at RTJ Capitol Hill. The Guardian Championship will be played September 21-23. During the interactive clinic, the children will learn about the game of golf and how it promotes core values, including honesty, integrity, responsibility, courtesy, sportsmanship and respect. These professional golfers are competing on the Symetra Tour this year. The top 10 players on the Symetra Tour's Volvik Race for the Card money list at the end of the season earn LPGA Tour membership in 2019. The Symetra Tour will have two more tournaments this year after the Guardian Championship. The participating professional golfers will be available for interviews after the Junior Clinic.
