On May 16, beginning at 2 p.m. EDT, Southern Company Chairman, President, and CEO David M. Ratcliffe will present an overview of the company and its business plans; Alabama Power CEO Charles D. McCrary, Georgia Power CEO Michael D. Garrett, Gulf Power CEO Susan N. Story, Mississippi Power CEO Anthony J. Topazi, and Savannah Electric CEO Anthony R. James will participate in a panel discussion about the utility subsidiaries; and Southern Company Generation President W. Paul Bowers and Executive Vice President Ronnie Bates will discuss the competitive generation business.
On May 17, beginning at 8:15 a.m. EDT, Southern Company Senior Vice President of Environmental Affairs Christopher M. Hobson and Southern Company Generation Executive Vice President Ed Day will present an overview of environmental issues and construction plans; Power Systems Development Facility Director Randall E. Rush will discuss the coal gasification project; Southern Company Vice President of Fuel Services Earl Parsons will discuss fuel procurement; and Southern Company Chief Financial Officer Tom Fanning will present a financial overview.
