Calder Elected to Gulf Power Board

 

Debbie Calder, senior vice president for Navy Federal Credit Union, has been elected to the Gulf Power Company board of directors.


“We are very pleased to have Debbie join our board of directors and believe her management expertise will be a valuable asset for our team,” Susan Story, Gulf Power president and CEO said. “She brings financial management skills to our board and, like Gulf Power, she and Navy Federal Credit Union are committed to public service and giving back to our community.”

 

Since 2007 Calder has directed the day-to-day operations of more than 1,400 employees and the ongoing construction of Navy Federal’s campus in Beulah. She has been with Navy Federal Credit Union for more than 18 years, with previous positions as Vice President of Consumer and Credit Card Lending in Vienna, Va.; Vice President Collections, Vice President of Call Center Operations and Assistant Vice President, Credit Cards.

 

She serves as a board member for United Way of Escambia County, Sacred Heart Hospital and the Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce where she serves as Vice Chair of Community Affairs. She is a member of the Sacred Heart Health System Finance and Compensation Committee, the Pensacola Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee and Impact 100.

 

Calder studied Business Administration at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va., and attended Executive Education programs at the University of Virginia and the University of Michigan.
