Bentina Terry elected to American Association of Blacks in Energy

Bentina C. Terry, Gulf Power Vice President of External Affairs and Corporate Services, has been elected to the Board of Directors for the American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE). 

“We are pleased to have Ms. Terry as a member of our Board of Directors,” said Frank Stewart, President and COO of the association. “Her experience in the energy industry and her commitment to the education of our youth make her a wonderful complement to our board. We are looking forward to her leadership as our organization continues to grow and make even more progress in addressing the needs of disadvantaged communities and in opening the upper echelons of the energy industry to greater gender, racial, and ethnic diversity.”

She was elected at the AABE annual conference in Columbus, Ohio. Established in 1977, the American Association of Blacks in Energy is a non-profit professional organization headquartered in Washington, D.C.  The association has more than 1,700 members nationwide who work in every sector of the energy industry.
