Mort O’Sullivan elected to Gulf Power board
Mort O’Sullivan, managing partner of O’Sullivan Creel, LLP, an accounting firm, has been elected to the Gulf Power Company board of directors.
O'Sullivan was an original partner in a predecessor firm, O'Sullivan Patton Jacobi, which was formed in 1981. He currently focuses on consulting and management advisory services to clients, while continuing to offer his expertise in litigation support, business valuations, and mergers and acquisitions. He is a registered investment advisor.
He is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants; Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants; Institute of Business Appraisers; Board of Directors, Pensacola Area Chamber of Commerce; Executive Committee, Pensacola Area Chamber of Commerce; Pensacola Area Chamber of Commerce Committee of One Hundred; Board of Directors, Florida Chamber of Commerce; Trustee, Greater Escambia Community Foundations; Advisor to the Board, Baptist Health Care; Board of Directors, Pensacola Sports Association; Board of Directors, Pensacola Sports Association Foundation; Board of Directors, Whitney Bank; Pensacola Rotary Club.
In addition to his contributions to the firm, he is a principal organizer of the development of Pensacola’s proposed Community Maritime Park.
O’Sullivan attended Washington & Lee University and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of West Florida in 1973. He became licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Florida in 1975.
