Alabama Power board of directors elects Smith to head External Affairs
The Alabama Power board of directors has elected Zeke Smith as executive vice president with responsibility for External Affairs. Smith will be responsible for Alabama Power’s Public Relations, Regulatory Services, Governmental Relations and Environmental Affairs departments. A “Zeke’s experience in Regulatory Affairs and Financial Planning has given him a keen understanding of our business and an appreciation of our customers’ needs,” said Alabama Power President and CEO Charles McCrary. “Under his leadership, I am confident we will continue to maintain strong, open and honest relationships with all of our stakeholders.” Smith replaces Mark Crosswhite, who was recently named president and CEO of Gulf Power.
