Gulf Power offers energy-saving advice to Lowe’s customers
Want to learn how to save energy with some simple upgrades around your home? Don’t know where to begin? In celebration of Earth Month, Gulf Power Company is visiting Lowe’s Home Improvement stores across Northwest Florida on April 14 to help customers improve the energy efficiency of their homes. Gulf Power energy efficiency teams will host booths at each of the following Lowe’s from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 14: · Crestview – Hwy. 85 and I-10 · Fort Walton Beach – Beal Parkway · Gulf Breeze – Tiger Point · Panama City – 23rd Street · Pensacola – Airport Boulevard
Customers can look for Gulf Power energy experts in each store for assistance in analyzing energy use and costs in their homes and suggestions on no-cost and low-cost energy efficiency tips.
The energy experts will provide information on rebates for Energy Star appliances, the latest technology in water heating, ceiling insulation, windows and film, and will offer an instant $3 discount on CFL light bulbs. “Gulf Power is very excited about being able to partner with Lowe’s for this event,” said Natalie Smith with Gulf Power Public Affairs. “Events like these allow us to have one-on-one time with our customers to teach them how they can manage their energy use and save money.”
Lowe’s customers also will be able to take advantage of Gulf Power EarthCents rebates to purchase items at Lowe’s that day.
