Why wait in line when you can check your account balance and pay your bill from your smart phone?
Well now you can, thanks to Gulf Power’s new mobile website. You can view or pay your bill, report an outage, locate an office or contact us — all from the screen of your smart phone.
“Studies show that more and more people are using a smart phone of some type,” said Natalie Smith, Gulf Power Media Relations. “And they’re using their smart phones for just about everything from social media to shopping online.”
Gulf Power’s mobile website is easy to find. On your smart phone: • Go to gulfpower.com • Click the “Log In” button in the My Account box on the left-hand side of the page • Once you’re there, make sure to bookmark the website on your phone’s browser • Save it as an icon shortcut on your phone’s home screen for quick access.
“Now you can log into your account and have instant access to us, 24 hours a day, wherever you are,” Smith said.
This new site will come in handy during the upcoming storm season, too. Customers can access their account or report an outage from their phone, no matter where they are. And you can use your smart phone’s GPS to locate the nearest Gulf Power office.
“You can still access our full website on a smart phone, but this new mobile site will allow you to quickly and easily access your account,” Smith said. “It’s really about providing a service that we know our customers want. Mobile devices are re-writing the way we do business online.”
