Georgia Power announces planned redemption of Series 2007D 6.375% Senior Notes due July 15, 2047
ATLANTA, June 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Georgia Power announced today the planned redemption on July 16, 2012 of all $300 million aggregate principal amount of its Series 2007D 6.375% Senior Notes due July 15, 2047. The redemption price for the full redemption of the Series 2007D 6.375% Senior Notes due July 15, 2047 (NYSE Symbol: GAR) will be 100% of the principal amount thereof ($25 per senior note), plus accrued and unpaid interest to the date of redemption. It is expected that The Bank of New York Mellon, as Trustee, will notify each registered holder by first class mail on or about June 15, 2012.
