On July 1, the fishing pier and parking area below Alabama Power’s Logan Martin Dam in Cropwell will move to daytime public-use hours.

The company will continue to allow free access to the facility during the new hours of operation:

·         Nov. 1 – Jan. 31: Sunrise to sunset.

·         Feb. 1 – Oct. 31: Sunrise to 10 p.m.

The new schedule is an effort by Alabama Power to enhance the security, public safety and cleanliness of the facility. Previously, pier and parking access at the site was unrestricted.
