Gulf Power rolls out new online services for customers
Want to pay your bill or view how much energy you've used so far this month from your smart phone? Want to view outage information in real-time online? Throughout 2013, Gulf Power Company plans to put more power at your fingertips by enhancing your online experience through My GulfPower.com. Customers are being encouraged to go to gulfpower.com to create an online account so they can take advantage of these new features as they are rolled out. It’s free to create an account and use these features. The first of many of these online improvements is Gulf Power’s upgraded mobile website which allows customer to view or pay their bills, report an outage, locate an office or contact the company — all from the screen of their smartphone. To create a My GulfPower.com online account customers should go to gulfpower.com and click on “Sign Up” under My Account on the left side of the screen. “Studies are showing that more and more people are going to a mobile device of some type,” said Natalie Smith, Gulf Power spokesperson. “And they’re using their smart phones for just about everything from social media to shopping online to paying their bills. We are using this new technology to give our customers more and better information so they can make decisions about their energy purchases and service options. We hope everyone will establish a My GulfPower.com account.” Finding the Gulf Power mobile website is easy.
