Boles named Corporate Communications director
Rebecca Boles, interim publisher of the Pensacola News Journal, has been selected as Gulf Power Company’s Corporate Communications director. Boles, a native of Pensacola, has served in various leadership roles at the Pensacola News Journal since 2005, including Marketing Development director and general manager of Bella and Pensacola Home and Garden magazines. “Becca is well-known in the community and brings a wealth of print and electronic media experience and seasoned leadership to Gulf Power,” said Bentina Terry, Gulf Power vice president of External Affairs and Corporate Services. “Her retail sales and marketing experience also are beneficial to help keep our focus on customers.” Boles serves on the Five Flags Rotary Club board, the United Way Marketing Advisory board, the Pensacola Autism Society board and the Greater Pensacola Chamber of Commerce Marketing board. She has previously served on the boards of ARC Gateway and the Gulf Breeze Chamber. “I am very excited about the opportunity to join the Gulf Power team,” Boles said. “The company has a great reputation with customers and the news media and I look forward to learning from and working with the Corporate Communications and Communication Services teams to maintain and grow that reputation.” In her new role, Boles will be responsible for Gulf Power’s media relations, advertising, social media, employee communications, graphic design, printing and mail services.
