What:        Captain Robert Jornlin, who led a crew of World War II
               veterans in sailing the LST -325 from Greece into Mobile on
               January 10, 2001, will speak at the awards luncheon of the
               Alabama Gerontological Society (AGS).  He will talk about
               their journey, its effect on the LST's graying crewmembers
               and the future of the 60-year old vessel that earned two
               battle stars in service during World War II.  The group of
               veteran sailors who sailed the ship home to America average

  Background:  The Alabama Gerontological Society (AGS) will have its annual
