What: Alabama Power Service Organization volunteers are beginning a week-long blitz build to construct a Habitat for Humanity house in the Rock Creek area. This West Jefferson neighborhood was one of the hardest hit by the deadly tornado that struck the Birmingham area April 8, 1998. The home is the ninth Habitat for Humanity home that Alabama Power volunteers have built.
