Alabama Power customers now have a convenient, paperless way to pay their power bill. It's called e-Bill.

Since the program's launch earlier this year, more than 15,000 business and residential customers have signed up for online billing. Every month, e-Bill participants are notified by e-mail that their new bill is ready for viewing and payment. Customers can make their payments online, view up to 12 months of past e-Bill statements, even access a copy of their paper bill. The process is quick and easy. There's no mail to handle and no stamps to buy. And the service is free.

Bill payment comes out of the bank account customers designate when they enroll. Customers receive a confirmation by e-mail after their payment is submitted. Once the payment is posted, it appears on the following e-Bill.

Customers already paying their bills through Electronic Funds Transfer can sign up for e-Bill and eliminate receiving their monthly bill by mail. Instead, they'll receive bill notice and payment confirmation via e-mail, as well as all the other benefits of e-Bill. It makes automatic drafts that much easier.
