ATLANTA - Nov. 16, 2007 - The Board of Natural Resources voted recently to accept 2,268 acres in northeast Georgia donated by Georgia Power. Located in Habersham and Rabun counties, the property will assure preservation of land around Tallulah Gorge State Park. Since 1995, the state has leased the land through a partnership with Georgia Power and the North Georgia Mountains Authority.
