Safety is a Top Priority for Savannah Electric

As the winds increase, Savannah Electric is working to update the estimated number of outages in its service area.

At 2:30pm, the company estimates 25,000 customers are without service from Springfield to Tybee Island.

Areas affected include Wilmington Island, Victory Drive, White Bluff, Waters Avenue and Grove Point subdivision.

Customers in the Savannah Electric service area encouraged to call the Savannah Electric Outage Hotline to report outages 1 800 390-2834.
