Stockholders meeting to be broadcast live on Webcast

Southern Company’s 2004 Annual Meeting of Stockholders will take place at 10 a.m. EDT on Wednesday, May 26, at The Southern Pine Conference Center at Callaway Gardens, Pine Mountain, Ga. At the meeting, Southern Company Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Allen Franklin will report on Southern Company business issues and future plans. Also, shareholders will elect the company’s Board of Directors and vote on other matters.
