Southern Company earnings to be released Jan. 29

ATLANTA – Southern Company plans to release its fourth quarter and full-year 2003 earnings at 7:30 a.m. EST Thursday, Jan. 29.

CEO Allen Franklin and Tom Fanning, chief financial officer, will discuss earnings and provide guidance for 2004 during a conference call for financial analysts at 1 p.m. EST Thursday, Jan. 29.
