By tonight: Mississippi Power to restore power to all customers
Company, 1,000 crewmembers actively restoring power to impacted areas

Gulfport, Miss. – Mississippi Power’s storm team is assessing damage and restoring electric service to customers following Hurricane Nate.

As of 11:30 a.m. CST, we have restored power to more than 10,000 customers and there are a total of approximately 4,800 customers who remain without service in the following areas:

  • Bay St. Louis 1 p.m. CST
  • Pass Christian 1 p.m. CST
  • Poplarville 3 p.m. CST
  • Gulfport 5 p.m. CST
  • Long Beach 5 p.m. CST
  • Lucedale 5 p.m. CST
  • Ocean Springs 8 p.m. CST
  • Pascagoula 8 p.m. CST
  • Moss Point 8 p.m. CST
  • Biloxi         8 p.m. CST
  • D'Iberville 8 p.m. CST

Mississippi Power customers can use the company’s online outage tools to report an outage, monitor the status of an outage, or receive updates, from their smart phone, tablet or computer by visiting the company’s storm center.

Mississippi Power urges customers to avoid downed power lines. Customers should report downed lines immediately to Mississippi Power at 1-800-532-1502.
