Alabama Power is opening a temporary office in Jasper while repairs are under way in the downtown Jasper office, which flooded following heavy rains earlier this week.

The temporary office will be located at 611 and 613 Highway 78 West. It will open on Monday, July 23, at 8:15 a.m. Customer Services and Appliance Sales will both be housed at this temporary location.

In addition to the temporary office, here are some other options for customers needing to conduct business with Alabama Power:

• Visit nearby Alabama Power offices in Carbon Hill and Dora

• Go to www.alabamapower.com to pay bills and for other online services, or for information about paying by phone or by mail

• Pay your bill at an Authorized Payment Location. Search for one near you at https://customerservice2.southerncompany.com/CustService/FindAnOffice

Although the downtown Jasper office is expected to be closed for several weeks, the Night Drop at the downtown location will be available. Payments will be picked up daily.
