Southern Company fourth quarter, full-year 2001 earnings to be released Jan. 24

ATLANTA – Southern Company plans to release its fourth quarter and full-year 2001 earnings at 7:30 a.m. EST Thursday, Jan. 24.

Allen Franklin, chairman, president and chief executive officer, and Gale Klappa, chief financial officer, will conduct a conference call for financial analysts at 1 p.m. EST, Thursday, Jan. 24.
