Southern Company’s National Accounts Program ranked one of the best

Southern Company’s National Accounts Program was voted one of the best in the nation for service and responsiveness to customers, according to the Edison Electric Institute’s (EEI) National Accounts Customer Advisory Group. The advisory group consists of multi-site business customers that have direct contact with utility companies.

Factors used to determine the National Accounts Program Award winner included utility companies that developed or maintained exceptional national accounts programs by providing excellent customer service to multi-site customers.

Also, Janet Booker, national accounts executive for Southern Company, was voted one of the Outstanding National Accounts Executives in the nation by the EEI Customer Advisory Committee. Booker’s award was based on the individual national accounts executives who provided multi-site customers with service levels and information above and beyond expectations.

Both awards were presented today at the EEI National Accounts Workshop in Atlanta.
