Southern Company launches new ad campaign

Southern Company has launched a new advertising campaign April 10 in major television markets and will begin running full-page, four-color print ads in top-tier business publications and major national newspapers April 16. Created by New York agency Shepardson Stern & Kaminsky (SSK), the multi-million dollar campaign is centered around the company’s red triangle logo and emphasizes Southern Company’s status as the largest producer of electricity in the United States, with a 99 percent reliability record and a growing global presence.

“Last year we premiered our first national advertising campaign, which successfully defined Southern Company for the business public. We want to build on that success by further positioning our leadership status and our global reach,” said A.W. Dahlberg, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Southern Company.
