Alabama Power is temporarily closing fishing pier and parking access below Logan Martin and Neely Henry dams as it conducts routine inspections in the water below the structures.

This brief interruption of access helps ensure the safety of divers who will be working underwater below the dams. Inspections are expected to last a day at each location, temporarily limiting access on the following dates:

·         Logan Martin – Aug. 6

·         Neely Henry – Aug. 8

These underwater inspections are a normal part of Alabama Power’s ongoing hydro facility maintenance and are scheduled every three to five years.
