Alabama Power hosts reception Thursday for ‘High Voltage-High Art’
Exhibit runs through Dec. 14 at Archives Museum in company’s corporate headquarters, downtown Birmingham

 

Alabama Power will host the opening reception for “High Voltage-High Art,” a juried art show on Thursday, Nov. 8 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The reception, at the Alabama Power Archives Museum, 600 N.18th St., will feature powerfully original works of art from Alabama artists. 

During the reception, enjoy refreshments, live music and register to win a piece of art from local artist Maralyn Wilson. All artwork in the show is available for purchase and will be on display until Dec. 14. The public is invited. 

The Alabama Power Archives Museum is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the ground floor of the historic 1925 building. Enter via the main, atrium entrance for corporate headquarters and stop at the front desk for a pass.
