  Total Territorial Energy Sales
  *  Second Quarter Energy Sales
     14.0 billion kilowatt-hours for the second quarter of 2000
     13.3 billion kilowatt-hours for the second quarter of 1999

  *  12 Months Ended Energy Sales
     55.0 billion kilowatt-hours for the 12-month period ended June 2000
     52.9 billion kilowatt-hours for the 12-month period ended June 1999

  Comments

"The increase in net income for the second quarter ended June 2000 was primarily due to an increase in territorial energy sales, partially offset by higher maintenance expenses. Net income increased in the 12 month period ended June 2000 primarily due to an increase in territorial energy sales."
