Electric Rates Adjusted

In the winter, rates for usage above 650 kilowatt-hours are lower because less demand is placed on Georgia Power`s generating system allowing the company to use its most efficient units to meet your power needs. Cost breakdowns for residential bills are 4.78 cents for the first 650 kilowatt-hours used, 4.10 cents for the next 350 kilowatt hours and 4.04 cents for all electricity consumed over 1,000 kilowatt-hours.
