Savannah Electric, victim families ask for privacy

Savannah Electric has commented since last Wednesday regarding the Atlanta plane crash and tragic loss of life, which included two of our employees, Mark Neville and Rodney Hall.

Their loss continues to be a source of pain and disbelief for our employees as well as many in the community.

The Neville and Hall families are grieving and have expressed their strong desire to be allowed to do so privately. At this difficult time, Savannah Electric is working to prevent any distractions during today’s services, both at the churches and at the cemeteries.

Corporate communications respectfully asks for your cooperation as neither the company nor our employees wish to make any further statements during this difficult time.

If further information relevant to Savannah Electric and appropriate for distribution becomes available, we will disseminate that information through normal media-contact channels.
