Savannah Electric employees and company donate $13,000 to Savannah State University Scholars Program

To ensure that Savannah State continues to attract the brightest and most talented students, Savannah Electric is matching the personal donations a number of its employees are making to the Savannah State University Scholars Program. A number of the contributing employees are Savannah State alumni.

Combined with Savannah Electric’s Educational Matching Gift program, the second annual, employee-initiated campaign resulted in a total contribution of $13,000.

A presentation to announce the gift total will be made to Savannah State officials at a luncheon at Savannah Electric headquarters on Tuesday June 11, 2002.
